My Plans for Mother’s Day

I absolutely love putting together a special event for Mother’s Day for my mom especially since it’s a perfect way to make memories that we will cherish for years to come.

But this year for Mother’s Day, since I have been working around the clock and traveling a lot and haven’t had much downtime and self care, I’m going to be celebrating in a quieter, simpler way. There will definitely be some quality time with my daughters, maybe watching a movie or binging on Netflix. And I’m going to hand over the hosting hat to my guy friend, and switch from being the entertainer to being entertained.

No matter how much we may love sharing our homes and our gifts with others through entertaining, sometimes it’s refreshing to pass the baton and be on the receiving end. So here’s to being celebrated this year by my sweet family on this special day.
