Design, Mix & Mood: Pink Edition {RECAP}

Did you miss our last Design, Mix & Mood: Pink Edition workshop? Well, it was our last workshop of 2019 and it was beyond amazing. These are the ladies who helped me in donation ten percent of the event proceeds to Pediatric Cancer at Children’s National Hospital and we had a great time networking.

I get so excited easy watching each attendee express themselves by creating their own home vision boards. This whole process allows them to lay out a vision to include fabrics and wallpaper textures like ideas. I even encouraged them to place powerful affirmations on the board to remind them of how they can achieve al they envision if they see the daily reminders. Once their boards were complete, I then challenged each of them to select the color that would complete the look of their board and this was so hard for them to do. Only if you could see their faces. LOL!!

Let me say that I immediately explained to them they were all prohibited from picking a plain grey color. Oh! That made things even harder. All of them were becoming a bit frustrated, well, then I helped them in selecting a variation of color palettes to challenge them to think outside of the box. If you could only see the look on their faces when I was done. It went something like this, OMG!! I would have NEVER picked that color but it goes so well with the design on my board. 

Let me tell you something, own your home project! Your vision we can execute even when YOU think it can’t be. The joy of being an Interior Designer Expert who host events to educate homeowners on the art of selecting color is allowing you all to think outside of the box. Get Creative, Be Bold, Own your Color Story!
